Mr Monaghan is driven by his strong educational beliefs, which prioritise the needs of students in the Schools he leads. He works tirelessly to ensure that the best possible academic experiences and wider opportunities are provided to students under his care. With his wealth of experience and dedication to educational excellence, Mr Monaghan is an invaluable addition to any School community. We are incredibly fortunate to have him with us, and we look forward to benefiting from his leadership for years to come as we strive to become a School of choice in Perth.
Julie Wall
Head of Primary School

She also has experience working with children with disabilities and proven expertise in formulating programs that develop skills and engage students to become involved in their learning. She continuously upgrades her skills in emerging digital and design technologies to develop and implement ICT programs.

Siza Macdonald

Siza’s commitment to professional development is evident through her mentorship of aspiring leaders and her engagement in pedagogical training. Recognized for her excellence, Siza received the Exemplary Teaching Award at the Western Australian Education Awards in 2010 and has consistently achieved high results in WACE Chemistry examinations, contributing to her schools being recognized as Top Achieving Schools.
Beyond academics, Siza fosters strong relationships to create an environment that promotes excellence across all areas of the school. She is committed to transforming St. Andrew’s Grammar into one of Western Australia’s top secondary schools, emphasizing a culture of positivity, high standards, and continuous improvement. With a clear vision for the future, Siza aims to leave a lasting impact by elevating the school’s profile and supporting staff and students.

Katia Monaghan
School Registrar
We are incredibly lucky securing Mrs Monaghan’s services after experiences at a top European school. Since joining us in May 2023 she has brought significant marketing and admissions experience to our school. She has brought a unique blend of warmth to prospective families, being a strong advocate to whom we are as a school whilst also bringing professional business ethos.
Since joining she, and her team, have taken us from a small school of 700 students to where we will be starting 2025 with 870 students, with waitlists in several cohorts, an incredible job! With 167 new students for 2025 alone, we are moving from a school in demand to one that will be increasingly selective and one which will soon be very difficult to secure a place.
