PA to Principal – Permanent Part-Time

This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, will be efficient, resourceful and skilled in executive functions and will have the ability to maintain the good public reputation of the school whilst carrying out all duties.   

This is a permanent part time position commencing on the 12th of January 2026. Ideally this role will be working 8am – 2pm Monday to Friday, however, for the right candidate these hours can be flexible, including work during school holidays. 

The position requires you to:

  • Manage the Principal’s calendars, scheduling meetings and through effective scheduling ensure that his days are well managed. 
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documentation on behalf of the principal. 
  • Coordinate invitations and VIP engagement for school events; and travel arrangements and itineraries for the principal. 
  • Assist in the preparation of agendas, minutes, and briefing papers for meetings and school committees. 
  • Manage reconciliation of Principal’s credit cards, purchases, and supplies. 
  • Provide general support to catering, and events in the wider school community. 
  • Perform other duties as directed by the principal. 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or in an educational administration role.
  • An ability to use initiative and be pro-active, be flexible and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.   
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage several projects at one time.  
  • Strong customer service focus and professional presentation. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
    Outlook). 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

History Teacher – Permanent Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced HASS teacher to join our wonderful teaching department at the beginning of Term 1 2026 for a 1.0 FTE ongoing permanent position. This teaching role will include teaching Senior School specialising in HASS and Modern History Year 12 ATAR.

The successful candidate will have a student-centred approach to learning and teaching, be team orientated and collaborative, and have a positive approach.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Plan and implement coherent, well sequenced teaching and learning programs that engage students and maximise learning.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to deliver quality teaching programs that are responsive to the learning strengths and needs of students
  • Establish inclusive, supportive learning environments. 
  • Develop, select and use informal and formal, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning and use assessment feedback to inform teaching practice.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and targeted feedback and reports to students and parents.
  • A bachelor’s in education or equivalent, or a relevant undergraduate degree and teaching qualifications.
  • Experience in teaching History and Humanities and Social Sciences.
  • TRBWA registered.
  • Ability to provide a stimulating learning environment, effective teaching and exemplary assessment practices. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Familiarity with ICT and the use of technology in the classroom. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Education Assistant (General) – Fixed Term Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced General Education Assistant who is passionate about quality education, to assist with our Primary school. The ability to work in a team and foster positive relationships with students is a must.

This fixed term part-time position commences January 2026.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with students working as a General Education Assistant in a School setting.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals.  
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team in the evaluation of educational programs.
  • Ability to assist teachers in implementing educational programs.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of inclusive education practices.  
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage and prioritise a number of concurrent tasks.   
  • Proficient in the use of technology.  
  • Flexibility to adapt to situations which occur within a classroom.  
  • Show creativity, innovative skills and initiative to implement programs and differentiate as needed to meet the needs of all children.  
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of ‘Duty of Care’ and place a high value on child well-being.  
  • Possess a strong work ethic, striving for continuous improvement and the achievement of high standards.
